 Hi John,

On behalf of Halifax Photographic Society and Gallery PhotoGroup can I say a big thank you for an excellent evening of photography and travel. I am getting lots of feedback from members on how much they enjoyed your talk and travels. My problem is it then makes it harder to find following speakers when you have set such a high standard.

 A quick note to say many thanks for the inspiring presentation this evening! The wonderful images complemented your narrative about the journey and the fascinating places you visited over the thousands of Kms in the middle of the turning season … the Autumn colours were very special! The memorial site for the witch trials victims was very moving, and your images made us feel we were right there. Dodging the reindeer seems much harder than dodging the sheep in Scotland for sure. 

Thanks again for a super presentation. It was an inspiring description of a trip to explore fascinating places - and all the interesting landscapes and buildings along the way.

Thank you very much for coming to YCC last night; your reputation had obviously preceded you as rarely are our ‘3rd Thursday in the month’ sessions so well attended! I know that I learnt a lot from both watching your AVs and hearing about the process of putting them together. I had seen them before, but found that watching again whilst thinking about what decisions and choices you had made during production opened my eyes to a whole new set of possibilities for photography.

Others who attended have given me similar feedback, they really enjoyed the session and felt they learnt from it, and we all very much appreciate you giving up your evening to come and talk to us.
